THE VILLAGE FOR AFRICAN AUTHORS

While established authors like Wole Soyinka, Chinua Achebe and Ngugi Wa Thiong'o have won the hearts of many worldwide with their undisputable command of African literature, thousands of talented, unknown African authors lurk in the shadows. The rest of the world is oblivious to their presence, unaware of their tasteful, stimulating, sensational, refreshing and vigorous literary prowess.

The African Bookstore Ltd is an initiative whose sole reason for existence is to provide a portal for upcoming African writers to avail their works to the rest of the world. We seek to quench the thirst for African knowledge by stocking titles handpicked from fields like Art, Gender Issues, Poverty, Health, AIDS, Politics and Literature.

Join us and help support our African brothers and sisters!
